Translate Keyword

Translate= Yes | No

This keyword determines whether LISTSERV keeps or removes control characters from messages that it distributes. "Translate= Yes" removes control characters; "Translate= No" keeps them. The default setting is "Translate= Yes".

Setting "Translate= No" may be required for accurately passing messages written using double-byte character systems such as those available for the Japanese language.
